Marisa Malik, LPC is the Director of Crisis Services and Criminal Justice Initiatives at Integral Care, the Local Mental Health Authority in Travis County, Texas. With more than a decade of leadership at Integral Care, she has driven the development and expansion of innovative crisis response models, including mobile crisis outreach, psychiatric urgent walk-in services, and law enforcement crisis intervention training. Marisa has been in critical roles forging strong cross-sector partnerships between behavioral health, emergency services, and the criminal justice system to better serve individuals experiencing mental health crises.
A recognized leader in crisis response, Marisa has presented at national conferences such as the American Association of Suicidology Conference, the Judicial Summit on Mental Health, and the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) 911 Conference. Her expertise spans crisis intervention, suicide prevention, disaster response, and supporting individuals with serious mental illness in community settings.
Marisa holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Counseling from St. Edward’s University. She is committed to advancing innovative, trauma-informed approaches that improve outcomes for individuals in crisis and strengthen community resilience.
