This presentation highlights collaboration among a school district, community-based organizations, and youth to design and implement a youth mental health ambassador program on Staten Island, NYC. The program reaches across Staten Island's public high schools (excluding charters) to build the capacity of students and the adults who support them to identify and respond to mental health issues among youth. This session will outline the process of establishing relationships, creating and implementing the curriculum, and evaluation & lessons learned for sustainability and replication to date.

Discuss best practices for sustaining strategies in school districts
