Denise Elsbree, LCSW, has been involved with Mental Health First Aid since 2011. Currently a National Trainer for Mental Health First Aid, she previously taught and coordinated MHFA and YMHFA courses for Edward Elmhurst Heathcare, now Endeavor Health. Other work experiences included: managing a drop-out prevention program; providing social work services at the Aurora Police Department and through the Kane County Regional Office of Education’s Truancy Prevention Program. She has supervised social work interns and is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Social Work Department at Aurora University.
