Christina believes that accelerating meaningful change in behavioral health requires not only evidence and strategy—but also humility, collaboration, and a deep understanding of context. With over 30 years in the field, she has worked across direct service, clinical leadership, training, and technical assistance to support the implementation and sustainability of effective, equitable mental health practices as well as health and housing access. Christina currently co-directs the Pacific West Hub of CMHIS, housed at the University of Washington (UW) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She teaches graduate courses as a Clinical Associate Professor at the UW School of Social Work and has provided practicum supervision since 2000. Her work centers on translating research into practice, responding to health disparities, advocating for just social policies, and building capacity through workforce development and implementation support. She approaches this work as a learner and collaborator, committed to strengthening systems through shared knowledge and practical tools. Christina has contributed to national efforts focused on fidelity, adaptation, and workforce resilience, and remains dedicated to improving behavioral health services in partnership with those who deliver and receive care.
