Poster 16 - Fountain House's Recharge Station: Building Community Where it is Hardest to Connect

Attendees will learn how the Recharge Station, an innovative peer-led street outreach program, offers a welcoming, community space that fosters trust and connection for individuals with serious mental illness (SMI), particularly those who are unhoused, substance-involved, or justice-involved. They will gain insight into how peer-led engagement and relationship-building serve as a foundation for identifying unmet needs and guiding individuals toward recovery and stability. The presentation will highlight Fountain House’s community-based model, the collaborative partnerships that make the Recharge Station possible, and the measurable impact of the program through both qualitative and quantitative data.
