Chase is a Senior Associate in Mercer's Government Human Services Consulting practice. Before joining Mercer, Chase served as the Medicaid Transformation Project Director at the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) and brings over a decade of Medicaid innovation and policy experience. He managed Washington’s Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment program and the subsequent 1115 waiver renewal known as the Medicaid Transformation Project (MTP) 2.0. Since joining Mercer, Chase has helped several states negotiate with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for approval and implement Health-Related Social Need (HRSN) and Justice-Involved Reentry waivers.
