Jonathan Culwell, Esq. is the founding attorney at The Mental Health Law Firm, where he focuses on representing fiduciaries, caregivers, and individuals in their interest to seek appropriate care and treatment for “their person” living with SMI. Mr. Culwell is a prior two-term board member of NAMI Colorado, where he chaired the Public Policy Committee. He continues participation as a member, and volunteers as a NAMI LawLine attorney. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Colorado Guardianship Association and as a member Colorado Bar Association, he chairs the Mental Health subcommittee of the Elder Law Section. A Colorado native, Mr. Culwell lives in the Denver Metro area with his wife, two children, and a little dog named Tilly. When he is not practicing or volunteering, you will find him training in Shaolin kung fu, playing a word game, or enjoying a cup of black coffee.
