Leigh McGraw serves as Chief of Substance Use Services at Optum Massachusetts where she leads a team of substance use clinicians across Reliant Medical Group and Atrius Health within an integrated behavioral health model. She brings 35 years of experience in healthcare, including 15 years as a family nurse practitioner in primary care clinics worldwide and over a decade dedicated to work in addiction medicine. She champions a harm reduction approach to care, rapid access to treatment and aligning clinical practice to value based outcomes. She is deeply committed to reducing stigma in healthcare and building systems that make care readily accessible and responsive to the realities of patient's lives. Leigh retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of active duty service where she developed a deep commitment to service and teamwork, principles that continue to shape her approach to patient care and the teams she leads.
