Dr. David N. Brown is a licensed marital and family therapist in the State of Iowa, a clinical fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Certified Family Life Educator. He currently serves as the Behavioral Health State Specialist for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach (ISUEO). His key program and grant emphases are farm stress management, mental health outreach, mental health literacy, co-parenting, and suicide prevention. Prior to his work with ISU, Dr. Brown served as the Director of Psychological Health for the 132nd Fighter Wing of the Iowa Air National Guard. He has also held supervisory or clinical positions at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Broadlawns Medical Center, and Lutheran Social Service of Iowa.
