Chris Tilden, Ph.D., is an Associate Researcher Senior at the University of Kansas Center for Public Partnerships and Research (CPPR). At the Center he coordinates evaluation efforts in the areas of behavioral health, public health, and early childhood care and education. In recent years he has coordinated or contributed to multiple statewide needs assessment and evaluation projects, including the Kansas Substance Use Needs Assessment on behalf of the Attorney General’s office and the statewide Sunflower Foundation, the Kansas Title V Maternal and Child Health Five-Year Needs Assessment, and the Kansas Title X Family Planning Needs Assessment. He has also led evaluation efforts for multiple Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) programs and projects. He holds faculty appointments with the Kansas University School of Medicine—Department of Population Health and the Milken School of Public Health at George Washington University. He has held leadership positions in public health departments at the local and state level and managed several non-profit health and human services organizations. He holds a Masters degree in Health Policy and Management from the University of Kansas and a Ph.D. from Duke University.
