Denise is a LPC and has worked in the mental health field for over 17 years. She runs the Mental Health First Aid program for Helen Farabee Centers, the local mental health authority for 19 Texas counties. She has been an instructor for 13 years and a Coordinator for 6 years. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Midwestern State University (MSU) in 2008 and her Master of Arts in Counseling from MSU in 2022.
Denise has been a recipient of the Texas Koalafied Star Award 4 times. and serves as a MHFA Mentor for other Outreach Workers in the state.
