Jondell Lafont-Garcia is a Texas-based Licensed Professional Counselor. She began her career working in the eating disorder field then expanded her work to include adolescents and adults with various mental health challenges. Jondell is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and uses a mindfulness-based approach to mental health and wellness. Jondell currently works at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission in the Behavioral Health Services Section as the Mental Health First Aid Coordinator. She has been an MHFA Instructor since 2019.
