Jeanelle Romero, serves as a Bureau Chief of the New Mexico Medicaid program overseeing enrollment, marketing, eligibility, and justice services units. In this leadership role I oversee policy, development and implementation of key initiatives such as the 1115 Justice Reentry waiver that aims to improve health outcomes for justice-involved populations transitioning into the community. With over 18 years of service to the NM Medicaid program I’m committed to developing people and innovative programs that improves health outcomes and the overall wellbeing of my fellow New Mexicans.
