Katie Burbee is Corporate Director of Clinical Sevices at Horizon Health Services. A Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC), Katie has been dedicated to the Horizon team since 2007, working across the organization’s various outpatient, stabilization, and residential programs for mental health and substance use counseling. She specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Perinatal MH services, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and veteran-specific treatment. In her current role she facilitates several trainings for the agency that are focused on substance use, women’s treatment needs, military culture, compassion fatigue, and MH diagnosing. Katie has developed and facilitated new hire trainings that focus on MH and SUD diagnosis, Integration and Conceptualization. Katie continues to work closely with New Hire clinicians on learning foundations of their jobs and applying skills learned. Additionally, Katie serves on the ASAP Veterans Committee and Horizon’s Patient and Family Advisory Board.
