David Reines is a leader of Fountain House's Recharge Station team, which is a novel street outreach program that welcomes all and builds community. He has a deep commitment to supporting individuals with serious mental illness, especially those who are unhoused. He has been part of the Fountain House community for 16 years. At the Recharge Station, he helps serve people coffee and other beverages and links clients to supports, if requested, such as housing or harm reduction support. He brings an easy-going atmosphere to the Recharge Station, which can get hectic, since it's in the middle of Times Square.
