Tammy Freeberg joined The Village for Families & Children in 2009, and today, is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Planning. Tammy leads strategic planning and a variety of partnership, program, and resource development initiatives. She serves on the Connecticut Transforming Children's Behavioral Health Policy and Planning Committee and Alcohol and Drug Policy Council. Tammy earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University. In 2024, she became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Her twenty-plus- year career has spanned the nonprofit, higher education, and public sectors.
