Erin R. Alex is an accomplished behavioral health leader, clinician, and educator with over a decade of progressive experience in mental health and substance use treatment, clinical supervision, and program development. With a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University, Erin has dedicated their career to advancing trauma-informed care, developing innovative clinical programs, and mentoring the next generation of behavioral health professionals.
Currently serving as Clinical Director at Rushford, part of Hartford HealthCare, Erin oversees multiple residential programs, managing program budgets, compliance, and clinical outcomes while supervising managers and their teams. In this senior leadership role, they partner closely with organizational leadership to ensure services are delivered with quality, compassion, and fiscal responsibility.
Prior to their current role, Erin served as Clinical Program Manager at Rushford, where they directly supervised multidisciplinary teams, integrated evidence-based modalities including EMDR, DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, and provided training as a Non-Violent Crisis Response Instructor. They also contributed to staff hiring, professional development, and performance management, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
