Drew Holzapfel is a Managing Partner at High Lantern Group. Throughout his career, he has held key positions within the federal government, as well as with prominent pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers, and consulting firms, including Pfizer, The White House, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In his role at High Lantern Group, Drew has led initiatives with top biopharmaceutical companies to advance market readiness, position critical policy issues, foster strategic partnerships, and secure support from third-party organizations. His work has been instrumental in driving new treatment approvals and expanding access to treatments and diagnostics, both in the U.S. and globally. Additionally, he works closely with nonprofit and advocacy organizations, helping them refine their positioning strategies and amplify their influence.
Drew possesses specialized expertise in Alzheimer’s disease, mental health, and neuroscience, and has been recognized for his significant contributions in collaboration with policymakers, advocacy organizations, corporations, and international entities, including the OECD and the World Health Organization. Drew helped build and oversees The Global CEO Initiative on Alzheimer’s Disease, including the development of three initiatives that have shaped early detection and diagnosis of cognitive impairment. He served as President of US Against Alzheimer’s and serves on the Board of Directors for both the Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative and Global Alzheimer’s Platform. Drew and his HLG colleagues are currently supporting Dr. Harris Eyre, Rice University, to build the Global Brain Economy Initiative.
Drew holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree from Emory University.
