Chayla Lyon serves as the Sr. Director of Growth & Services for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) USA. In this role, she oversees the successful implementation and execution of MHFA services, ensuring high-quality training, compliance, and program fidelity.
Chayla has been with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing for nine years, where she has implemented systems that enhance program compliance, certification processes, and instructor onboarding, ensuring that all trainings adhere to rigorous quality standards. Her work ensures that MHFA training remains accessible, high-quality, and impactful, equipping organizations and individuals to support mental well-being in their communities.
Before joining the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, Chayla worked at Liberty Resources, a large outpatient mental health and substance use provider in Upstate New York. During her tenure, she spearheaded the implementation of innovative scheduling strategies, reducing wait times and improving patient care. She was also part of the team that opened an integrated primary care practice, transforming the clinic into a fully Integrated Health Center.
A skilled speaker and facilitator, Chayla brings expertise in program implementation, compliance monitoring, and strategic growth. With a strong background in behavioral health and customer experience, she is passionate about driving operational excellence, maintaining compliance, and delivering impactful training programs that empower individuals and communities to improve mental well-being
