Daniel Gizzo, Ph.D. is Executive Director, Mental Health Scholars and Workforce Strategy at Kaiser Permanente and oversees the Kaiser Permanente Mental Health Scholars Academy. Dr. Gizzo is also a clinical psychologist specializing in working with children and adolescents. He earned his PhD from the California School of Professional Psychology and is licensed as a psychologist in California and New York. He has experience providing a variety of clinical services in an HMO setting, including pediatric neuropsychological assessment, autism/developmental assessment, and assessment of ADHD. He is the former Training Director for the APA-accredited Kaiser Permanente doctoral internship in clinical psychology in San Diego. Dr. Gizzo remains active in training mental health professionals and providing continuing education programs. Dr. Gizzo’s clinical interests include evidence-based treatment for children, treatment of Tourette’s Syndrome, clinical implementation and outcomes research, and Feedback Informed Care in psychotherapy.
