Elixandra Colón Bou, PsyD, is a Puerto Rican Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Team Manager for Equipo Renacer. Based at the Tri-City Community Behavioral Health Clinic in Massachusetts, she leads a specialized Hispanic/Latinx multidisciplinary team. In this role, she oversees day-to-day clinical operations and provides essential support for staff development. Her work ensures that the community receives mental health care that is both linguistically accessible and culturally responsive.
Previously, Dr. Colón worked as a Clinical Psychologist in Puerto Rico, serving children and adolescents with special needs and neurodiversity. She also served as a Doctoral Intern and Mental Health Practitioner in Minnesota, where she provided therapy in both English and Spanish to individuals, families, and groups. Her clinical expertise includes dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and recovery-oriented practices tailored to meet the needs of complex and underserved populations.
Dr. Colón earned her PsyD and MS in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University, where she also contributed to research and outreach initiatives focused on suicide prevention and borderline personality disorder. She is passionate about advancing equitable, culturally responsive care and fostering resilience in the communities she serves.
