Marcy L. Johnson serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Prairie View, where she leads with a vision grounded in compassionate care, operational excellence, and community impact. A seasoned behavioral health executive, Marcy brings over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field, including more than 18 years working within community mental health centers across Kansas.
Marcy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology as well as an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Business Administration, integrating advanced organizational strategy and leadership into her work at Prairie View.
Throughout her career, Marcy has been recognized for her strategic decision-making, her commitment to strengthening organizational performance, and her passion for expanding access to high quality behavioral health services. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, her ability to bring clarity to complex challenges, and her advocacy for innovation that supports long-term sustainability and community well being.
At conferences and professional events, Marcy is known for delivering practical, grounded insights that energize audiences and offer actionable strategies for improving systems of care. Her presentations blend clinical expertise, executive leadership, and real world experience drawn from her decades of service in Kansas communities.
