David Galvan is a nationally recognized speaker, trainer, and facilitator with more than 15 years of experience equipping communities to strengthen mental health awareness, resilience, and suicide prevention. He has facilitated trainings in Adult, Youth, and Teen Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), QPR, ACEs, and multiple evidence-informed suicide-prevention models. David was named Colorado’s MHFA Instructor of the Year in 2023 and was recognized again in 2024 for training the most First Aiders statewide.
He has spoken to more than 35,000 students across the country, served as a trainer with Soul Shop®, and currently serves as the Mental Health First Aid Trainer-in-Residence at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Colorado Springs. His work centers on whole-person health and empowering schools, organizations, and faith communities to provide help, healing, and hope.
