Elaine Tsao is a Research and Evaluation Specialist at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. She leads initiatives related to expanding the evidence base of the Mental Health First Aid program and strengthening the research and evaluation infrastructure at the National Council. In her role, Elaine implements program evaluations, develops and maintains course evaluations, and manages initiatives that support academics and evaluators with examining the implementation and effectiveness of MHFA in different communities. Elaine holds a Master of Public Health degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and Population Mental Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a bachelor's in Psychology and Legal Studies from Scripps College.
