Kristen Heller is a behavioral health executive known for helping organizations rethink how care is designed, delivered, and sustained. Her work sits at the intersection of clinical practice, operational strategy, and system transformation, where she focuses on building care models that strengthen both client outcomes and workforce sustainability.
With more than a decade of experience across community mental health, addiction treatment, and integrated care systems, Kristen specializes in translating complex regulatory frameworks — including the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model — into practical, clinician-centered systems that expand access and improve quality of care.
She is particularly known for advancing conversations around aspects of recovery that behavioral health has historically overlooked, including intimacy, sexuality, and relational wellbeing. Kristen believes that whole-person care requires the courage to address these dimensions of human experience rather than leaving them outside the treatment room.
Through her work as a speaker, consultant, and executive leader, Kristen challenges organizations to align strategy with clinical reality, embrace thoughtful innovation, and design behavioral health systems that reflect the full complexity of healing.
