I’m Jayaram Lamichhane, community Health Navigator at the Asian Pacific Clinic. I’ve been working at the Clinic since 2022, serving communities from Bhutan, Nepal, India and Pakistan.
As a Health Navigator, I help clients access care, schedule and prepare for appointments, connect to insurance and social services, and support follow-up and care coordination. I act as a cultural and linguistic bridge between therapists and the community — building trust, explaining treatment plans in culturally relevant ways, and advocating for clients to remove barriers to care. My work helps reduce health disparities and improve treatment engagement by addressing practical obstacles (transportation, language, insurance) and by strengthening patient–provider communication. I’m committed to serving South Asian communities with compassion, cultural humility, and practical support so people can get the care they need.
