Aaron Katz is Chief Operating Officer at Eliot providing managerial and operational leadership to Eliot’s
service divisions including Behavioral Health Services, Community Clinical Services, Youth and Family
Services, and Homeless Services. In his role, Aaron leads the strategic vision for Eliot’s services focused
on the Triple-Aim of improving outcomes, managing revenue/costs, and improving client satisfaction
with services. Aaron has created a service structure focused on consistency, flexibility, and process
improvement throughout Eliot’s services spanning the entire Commonwealth. Aaron has fostered an
environment that is focused on both being proactive and responsive by creating a clinical and
administrative structure that delivers evidence-based treatments and team-based problem solving.
Aaron started his career in the biotechnology sector and transitioned to Eliot in 1999, steadily
transitioning from direct care to manager, to director level positions, and to executive level positions at
Eliot. Aaron received his Master’s in Public Policy with a concentration in Health Policy from Johns
Hopkins University in 2005. His focus for the last 15 years has been on process improvement within
Behavioral Health and creating management and leadership systems to sustain Eliot’s growth and
successes. Aaron continues to spend time working directly with teams providing services, assisting them
in managing risk and solving problems to increase their ability to provide effective services.
