Trica Walters is the Chief Experience Officer at GRAND Mental Health, where she is responsible for shaping the experiences of both clients and staff across the organization. She oversees human resources, learning and professional development, marketing/public relations and development and external affairs, aligning these areas to strengthen GRAND’s culture and mission.
Trica joined GRAND in 2015 after building a career in HR and risk management across retail, public power, and consulting. Her transition into behavioral health came at a pivotal moment in her life, when personal circumstances created a deep connection to GRAND’s mission. Since then, she has held multiple leadership positions, each focused on fostering growth, resilience, and innovation.
In her current role, Trica leads strategic initiatives in succession planning, talent development, change management, organizational performance, and brand strategy. She is passionate about building systems that emphasize transparency, clarity, and continuous learning—ensuring staff feel supported and clients experience care that is meaningful and transformative.
Trica holds the SHRM-SCP credential and brings both professional expertise and personal commitment to advancing behavioral health care and cultivating workplaces where people can thrive.
