Christina Ramirez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, CCTP-II and PPSC working as the Mental Health Administrator with SHIELDS for Families. Christina has been with SHIELDS for 10 years and enjoys working with families in the community. Christina began her therapeutic work focusing on providing services to high school youth and their families in Watts, CA. Since her time as a school-based therapist, Christina has grown to overseeing all Mental Health services with SHIELDS for Families covering the entire lifespan. Christina’s passion has grown to ensuring services are trauma informed and culturally appropriate for the South Los Angeles community. Christina has worked to assist SHIELDS for Families to meet all federal requirements of a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic and to ensure all families have access to quality care that can help to improve any family’s social determinates of health.
