Bonni is a mission-driven clinical research psychologist with over twenty years of experience in behavioral health prevention, treatment, and recovery across the lifespan with a focus on improving health equity. In 2023, Bonni returned to Carelon Behavioral Health in Connecticut as SVP Quality Analytics & Innovation leading quality assurance, regional network management, and the Center of Excellence in Analytics & Innovation, focused on improving equitable behavioral health access, quality, and outcomes as the Administrative Services Organization (ASO) for the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership (CT BHP) and the Child & Family Division (CFD). In her prior work at Carelon BH CT, Bonni helped launch the statewide Behavioral Health Homes and spearheaded the transformation of analytics to support population health and integrated care approaches, and she currently collaborates on the CCBHC planning grant. Previously, Bonni was Chief Operating & Innovation Officer at Liberation Programs, a non-profit behavioral health provider of prevention, harm reduction, and treatment services in Fairfield County formally designated as a one of the first Recovery Friendly Workplaces by the CT Governor. In that role, Bonni deepened roots in her community and contributed to growth of staff and revenue by more than 50%, raised the agency minimum wage to $17/hour, and helped the organization earn the formal designation as a Recovery Friendly Workplace by the CT Governor. Bonni is a founding member of the CT Behavioral Health Oversight Committee on Diversity Equity & Inclusion in Behavioral Health and the Governor’s Advisory Board on Transparency in Medicaid Cost & Quality.
