Jeff is an Arizona filmmaker and peer support specialist. He works at Recovery Empowerment Network (REN), as the Director of Community Resources and the facilitator/creator of the Recovery Reelz Film Program. Jeff was brought into the mental health community by chance over a decade ago. His journey into the world of recovery has always been linked to his love of filmmaking. His dream has always been to be a filmmaker, but his love for helping others led him on the path of Peer Support. After graduating from Arizona State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s in Film and Media Production. In addition, to receiving an Associate’s in Fine Arts and Theatre. Jeff began construction on Recovery Reelz, the goal was to blend the inspiration of Peer Support with the magic of movies. The program was finished in 2020 and has completed nine successful classes, while releasing over 20 different short films.

Jeff hopes to continue helping others on their mental health journey, while never giving up on his lifelong dream. To be a successful filmmaker and storyteller.
