Matthew began his career in the mental health field in 2008 doing research at Oklahoma State University. He has substantial experience with the aging population in the hospital and outpatient settings and has worked in an inpatient setting with children. In 2012, he began working in the community mental health field and fell in love with providing services to the community. Matthew began his career with GRAND as a behavioral health professional. Since then, he has held many positions and titles within GRAND including mental health court therapist, adult services administrator, clinical director, regional clinical officer, and more. In his current role, Matthew's most recent role saw him overseeing the clinical services being provided in GRAND’s 12 rural counties. Matthew's role has transitioned into Senior Vice President of Clinical Quality and Compliance at GRAND. Matthew has dedicated his professional career to ensuring that the quality of services being provided at GRAND innovates with best practices in the field.
