Travis Landry is the WestCare Wisconsin, Inc. Regional Vice President (WC-WI). WestCare is a national organization in 17 states, 2 countries, and 2 trust territories. Mr. Landry has contributed to the organization's success with his lived experiences. In 2020, he was shot in the same community where he provides Community Violence Intervention (CVI) and Gun Violence Intervention (GVI) services. His lived experience helps others to understand the importance of mental health, men’s health, effective communication, emotional intelligence, social capital, transformational change, and gun and community violence intervention. Since its inception in 2012, WC-WI has provided prevention services to Milwaukee County residents, Milwaukee Public Schools, the Community Reintegration Center, Vel Phillips Detention Center, and Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility. WC-WI has been collaborating with several community-based organizations in prevention, intervention, and CVI and GVI services. – In 2022, WC-WI established Clinical Services with funding from Milwaukee County to provide mental health and substance use comprehensive assessments and treatment.
WC-WI also provides fiscal and oversight support for grassroots organizations that provide services and resources to their respective community.
