Dr. Jess Spohn (they/them) identifies as a nonbinary, queer, and neurosparkly public health social worker. With a Master's degree in Public Health, and Master's and Doctorate degrees in Social Work, they strive to lead and practice on a multi-level approach. Dr. Jess is independently licensed as a social worker and addictions counselor (LCSW, LADAC). They currently serve as Director of Crisis Services at LifeHouse, Inc. and Clinical Supervisor for the Families and Youth Innovations Plus Mobile Crisis Team (MCT), both in New Mexico. They specialize in decolonized and strengths-based clinical supervision and administration, crisis care continuum, addictions and recovery services, community organizing, and work with 2SLGBTQ+, severe mentally ill, and unhoused populations. Dr. Jess is additionally a published researcher on trans and nonbinary social work leadership, a small business owner for clinical supervision, training, and consultation, and the Vice Chair of the InsideOut Advocacy Board of Directors.
