Founder and President of INCITE Consulting Solutions, Kara has more than 25 years’ experience catalyzing change within the community healthcare landscape, with a focus on organizations within the mental health, substance use disorder, and social services industries.
Her personal and family stories have driven her to work with leadership within the behavioral health field to improve care, achieve better outcomes, build strategy and capacity, strengthen culture, and implement innovative solutions to workforce challenges. Prior to founding INCITE, she held leadership roles at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, NAMI National, and NAMI Massachusetts.
Kara presents nationally and is committed to advocacy and championing the public health perspective to operationalize ideas across the healthcare sector to “INCITE” real change for individuals living with mental illness and their families.
