B19 - Rising to the Moment: A New Vision for People and Possibility

In this session, National Council Chief of Staff, Mohini Venkatesh will sit down with Jody Levison-Johnson, President & CEO of Social Current, the home of the Five & Rising initiative, to talk about the future of behavioral health and human services in this country. With so much at stake in our field, the time is now to take action to shift the prevailing narrative for our sector and to develop and implement concrete strategies to reassemble our systems and structures in support of true wellbeing for communities and people. Together, Mohini and Jody will explore where our future opportunities lie to take individual and collective action, how to become engaged and involved in Five & Rising, and the broad range of options that exist for everyone to help move our field forward during this incredibly critical time.
