Attendees will learn how intentional, tiered leadership development can serve as a powerful tool for staff retention and engagement in community behavioral health settings. The session will highlight our organization’s structured leadership pathways and focus on the Emerging Leaders Program, designed to support individuals early in their leadership journey. Participants will explore practical tools and assessment strategies, including StrengthsFinder and DiSC, to foster self-awareness and growth. By the end of the session, attendees will leave with actionable insights to implement or enhance leadership development initiatives within their own organizations.

Learning Objectives:

Identify the key components of a tiered leadership development model and explain how each level supports employee growth and retention in community behavioral health settings.
Apply at least two leadership assessment tools (e.g., StrengthsFinder, DiSC) to evaluate individual leadership styles and development needs.
Develop an actionable plan to implement or enhance an Emerging Leaders Program within their own organization, tailored to early-career staff.
