11:00 AM - 12:00 PM MDT
Location: 702
The work we do in behavioral health is hard, but it’s often the small, repeated stressors that tip professionals into burnout. In this session, we will discuss strategies to use familiar skills and actions intentionally throughout your day- between sessions, during lunch, or even in the middle of a stressful interaction- to reset and revive so you can avoid burnout and bring your best self to each interaction. Attendees will walk away with practical strategies for micro-breaks and personalized resilience plans they can begin to use immediately.
Learning Objectives:
Articulate the value of intentional micro-breaks to combat burnout, and sustain energy, clarity, and long-term well-being.
Identify at least 5 micro-break techniques for calming the nervous system in under 2 minutes.
Create a personal resilience “toolkit” for use during your day.
